Starr works as a local leader in the Community Engagement department at Thrivent. Thrivent is a fortune 500 company whose focus is helping people achieve financial clarity, enabling lives full of meaning and gratitude. For the past 8 years they have been rated on of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere. Starr believes that education and exposure are the keys to breaking the chains of generational poverty. Her passion is to assist in building financially healthy people, churches and communities. She facilitates financial workshops for professional and church groups, pastors, community and non- profits groups from the ages of 8-108 years old thru relevant subject matter. Starr holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Business and a Masters in Positive Psychology. She is married and has 4 adult children.
