2019 Festival of Homiletics - Minneapolis

Main Venue: Metropolitan AME Church

Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church will be our main venue for the Festival of Homiletics this year May 21-25, 2018. Registration and the vendor fair will take place in this historic worship space, the National Cathedral of African Methodism.

Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, is located near the White House, Congress and Supreme Court and sees ministries of justice that change the social and political reality as a priority.

Main Venue - The Scottish Rite Theatre

Built in 1924, the Scottish Rite Theatre is rich in historical character and will be a perfect place to experience the fellowship of more than a thousand preachers.

Festival of Homiletics Registration Opens Nov. 3

Make plans today to join us May 11-15 for the 2015 Festival of Homiletics in downtown Denver.

Praised by the New York Times as being at the center of “a world of preaching stars,” the Festival annually draws 1,800 preaching colleagues together for an amazing week of preaching, lectures, worship and renewal.

This year’s theme is "Preaching from the Mountain: Heralds of Good Tidings," and it marks the first time in 20 years the festival will be held west of the Mississippi.

We're Ready for Festival 2013!

Ready for Festival 2013The Nashville ground crew has put on the finishing touches at First Baptist Church (108 7th Ave. South), and we are prepared for more than 1,700 participants for the 2013 Festival of Homiletics.

Registration is now open!
