Bio

Yvette Flunder founded the City of Refuge UCC in 1991 in order to unite a gospel ministry with a social ministry. City of Refuge is a thriving inner-city congregation in San Francisco that celebrates the radically inclusive love of Jesus Christ. Flunder is a third-generation preacher with roots in the Church of God in Christ. She was ordained by Bishop Walter Hawkins of Love Center Ministries, where she served as associate pastor and administrator for the Oakland-based Love Center Church. Flunder

Donald Davis grew up soaking in the language of a family of traditional storytellers in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina.  After graduating from Davidson College and Duke Divinity School, he was ordained in the United Methodist Church and spent twenty four years as a parish minister. Barbara Kay Lundblad has taught at Yale Divinity School, Princeton Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College and the Association of Chicago Theological Schools.
