"Preaching as Moral Imagination"

With Thanks and Repentance

On this day of Thanksgiving...

May our hearts be filled with gratitude for the great abundance our Creator provides.

May we hold space for those within our midst living with wounds and hurts to grieve allowing time for solace in the healing balm of our Redeemer.

May those of us who reside in occupied lands of Indigenous people lift our voices in repentance and reconciliation with those who first dwelt where we gather.

May we remember and live in gratitude for the first stewards of the land many of us now call home.

Come Holy Spirit.
