2019 Festival of Homiletics - Minneapolis

Instructions for Arrivals - Welcome to the Festival!

We look forward to welcoming you to the 23rd annual Festival of Homiletics in Denver!

Monday (5/11)

If you arrive on
Tues.- Fri. (5/12-15)

Registration will take place between 2 and 8 p.m. at the Bellco Theatre located inside the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. Please enter the Convention Center at 14th Street and California, directly across from the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Look for the big Blue Bear! The Convention Center is easily accessible from the 16th Street Mall bus. Monday evening programming begins promptly at 6:15 p.m. with worship with Pastor Nadia Bolz-Weber preaching, followed by a lecture by Sara Miles.   Please check in at Central Presbyterian Church at 1660 Sherman Street in downtown Denver. Parking is available in a variety of city-owned surface lots near each of the three host churches. Also, the churches are within easy walking distance to the 16th Street Mall.

Upon arrival

Pick up your Festival program and name badge at the registration table. You can also download the complete Festival program to your mobile device or tablet and begin planning your week now.

Festival Choirs

If you would like to sing with the Festival choir at opening worship, please arrive by 5 p.m. and meet on the platform in the Bellco Theatre for rehearsal. Look for signs in the registration area.

There will be a second opportunity to sing with Kent Gustavson and the Festival choir at the 11 a.m. Tuesday worship service at Central Presbyterian. Gather in the Central Presbyterian sanctuary at 8 a.m. Tuesday (5/12) for rehearsal for this mountain gospel service with Sara Miles preaching.
