"Preaching as Moral Imagination"

Vendors Profile #5

We are excited to announce that there will be a second site for vendors at Westminster Presbyterian Church due to so much interest! Here are some of the vendors you can expect to see at the Festival of Homiletics 2014:

InFaith Community Foundation

InFaith Community Foundation, established in 1995 as Lutheran Community Foundation, is a national charity with a mission to serve donors, spread joy and change lives.

Through the Foundation, gifts are tailored to each donor's charitable interests and financial circumstances. InFaith Community Foundation is a proven steward of these gifts, earning Charity Navigator's top rating for sound fiscal management. Together with donors, the foundation grants more than $10 million annually to charities serving local, national and global communities.

Kairos & Associates

Our core purpose is to help Christian churches and ministries realize the resources needed to achieve their dreams and visions.

Our holistic and integrated approach to Capital Funding and Stewardship Development not only maximizes the potential for generous giving it lays the foundation for long term growth and vitality.

Lancaster Theological Seminary

Affiliated with the United Church of Christ, our campus is home to an engaged community of students and faculty from many Christian traditions and backgrounds. Our mission is to educate and strengthen Christian leaders for congregations and other vocations serving church and society.

Lancaster Theological Seminary maintains an environment where students are both encouraged and challenged in their beliefs, and where each student's path toward spiritual formation is nurtured. Students have meaningful access to our renowned faculty and build lasting bonds with their peers as they learn, worship, and grow together.

Our programs are designed to integrate intellectual, spiritual, and vocational learning. Interaction with local and global communities of faith throughout the course of study grounds this process in real-world contexts.

Tree of Life Imports

Tree of Life Imports was founded fifteen years ago during El Salvador's civil war as a means to bring the art of La Palma to the American market.  Since then, Tree of Life Imports has focused our attention on several Latin American communities to help provide equal opportunity for all to work, including women and the rural poor.  All our products are hand made by artisians in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico.  Tree of Life Imports is committed to fair trade and economic justice.  We pay a fair price that has allowed our producers to greatly increase their standard of living.

Woman of the Cloth

Bright and modern church vestments bring depth and richness to worship. I make stoles for ministers in contemporary fabrics that speak to the ancient traditions of the church in fresh new ways.

If you are a minister or pastor, here are some stoles to add visual interest to your service on Sunday mornings. (And if all of your stoles were Ordination gifts, it is probably time to expand your vestment wardrobe!) If you have a clergy member as a relative or a friend, one of these stoles would make a thoughtful and meaningful gift. And if you are a church member -- well, maybe you can use one of these stoles to nudge your congregation or parish artistically into the 21st century!
