 Walter Brueggemann is an American Protestant Old Testament scholar and theologian and an important figure in Progressive Christianity. Walter Brueggemann is Professor Emeritus of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, and a past president of the Society of Biblical Literature. He has recently authored "Disruptive Grace" (Fortress Press). Brueggemann is widely considered one of the most influential Old Testament scholars of the last several decades. 

We are so excited Walter will be joining us this year at the 22nd annual Festival of Homiletics in Nashville. His interview with Anna Carter Florence is sure to be stimulating and thought-provoking.
