We strive to accommodate all who wish to attend the Festival of Homiletics and work hard to minimize any inconveniences. Each year the festival takes place in an urban setting, at multiple venues with differing accommodations. During the pandemic we have created a virtual version since travel and meeting in person are not possible at this time. We hope to accommodate all who are able to attend even in the online format.
For in-person events, all venues have elevators, an accessible entrance and restrooms, and there will be reserved seating for those needing accommodations.
Meals are not provided as part of the conference. However, participants with limited mobility may purchase a boxed lunch option as part of their registration. The lunch option must be selected at time of registration and will not be available for purchase on site. If you have dietary preferences, please be sure to mark those on the space provided on the registration form when you register.
Hearing Assistance and Sign Language
We plan to offer closed captioning for all of our videos being shown online when possible. For the in-person event we will have a limited number of hearing assistance devices at all of the venues. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter services are also available upon request.
Please contact us by email or phone no later than February to request ASL interpreter services or other accommodations for special needs for the in-person event.
