Rob Lee

The Reverend Robert W. Lee, IV is a pastor, activist, and author. In 2017 he appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards, The View, and NPR’s Weekend Edition to speak out against racial violence following Charlottesville.

A 2015 graduate of Appalachian State University, Rob currently serves on faculty there teaching public speaking. Lee received his Master of Theological Studies in May of 2017 with a focus on Homiletics under the direction of Bishop William H. Willimon. 

Rob’s first book, Stained-Glass Millennials (Smyth and Helwys 2017) was met with acclaim in the theological world. His second book with Penguin Random House is due out in early 2019. Lee lives with his wife Stephanie and toy poodle Frank in Statesville, North Carolina.
