Third Sunday of Lent

Psalm 63:1

(1)    O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. (2) So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.

On this the third Sunday of Lent we are reminded that God is the oasis is the desert. Take time to look upon his sanctuary and see his glory!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. Open your hearts, be faithful and obedient – Listen! It is this season of penance and reflection which prepares us for Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday.

May the Lord accompany us on our journey through these 40 days as we heed the call to pray, fast and repent.
