Lord, Walk with Me

I want Jesus to walk with me;
I want Jesus to walk with me;
all along my pilgrim journey,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

In my trials, Lord, walk with me;
in my trials, Lord, walk with me;
when my heart is almost breaking,
Lord, I want Jesus to walk with me.

3 When I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me;
when I’m in trouble, Lord, walk with me;

Lent - Easter Sunday

Luke 24: 1-5
1
  But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, taking the spices that they had prepared.  2  They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,  3  but when they went in, they did not find the body.   4  While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them.  5  The women  were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men  said to them, "Why do you look

5th Sunday of Lent

Psalm 126

1  When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,  we were like those who dream.  2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."  3  The Lord has done great things for us, and we rejoiced.  4  Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like the watercourses in the Negeb.  5  May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy.  6

4th Sunday of Lent

Psalm 32:10-11

(10)  Many are the torments of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.

(11)  Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

This week during Lent we should reflect on the mercy of God and reconcile our relationship with him. God’s grace and mercy are a given, everlasting. We are among the blessed.
