Opening Night with Nadia Bolz-Weber and Sara Miles

During the opening night of the 2015 Festival, Nadia Bolz-Weber, founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, will be preaching, and Sara Miles, director of ministry at St. Gregory Nyssa Episcopal Church and founder and director of the Food Pantry, will be giving a lecture. Both will take place at Monday's venue, the Bellco Theater in the Colorado Convention Center.

Yesterday at Westminster Presbyterian, Eric Elnes from Darkwood Brew and Anna Carter Florence, Professor of Preaching at Columbia Theological Seminary, shared insights about preaching and listening in a world of many perspectives and divisive lines.

To begin the session, Eric told a few stories about his time with CrossWalk America, when he and a few other progressive Christians made their way from Phoenix, AZ to Washington
