Great Men Coming to the Festival!

We have a fantastic line-up scheduled for the 2013 Festival of Homiletics and it includes some of the most influential scholars, speakers and religious leaders of the last several decades.

We have the venerable Walter Brueggemann coming to share his thoughts and wisdom in an evening dialogue with Anna Carter Florence. Church leaders including  Bishop Mark Hanson, Bishop Michael Curry and retired Bishop Will Willimon will lend their voices to our week of worship as well.

Leading figures in the emerging church movement like Brian McLaren and Len Sweet are joining us along with some institutional heavy hitters. We have invited the newly named Princeton Theological Seminary President Craig Barnes, David Lose; Chairman and Professor from Luther Seminary and William Carl III; president of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. They are sure to enlighten and educate us!

Some forward thinking preachers and innovators like Otis Moss III, Eric Elnes and Jason Moore are bringing their unique styles and talents to Nashville. They are sure to inspire and motivate. We rounded out the week with storyteller Michael Williams, Day 1 executive producer and host Peter Wallace, charismatic Canadian pastor Anthony Bailey and Frank Thomas; who recently retired to lead a new institute for African-American studies at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis.

It is sure to be an unforgettable week of lectures, workshops and faith-filled worship!
