Speaker Profile: Craig Barnes

Bio

Craig Barnes is the seventh president of Princeton Theological Seminary. In 2012 he was elected to be the president of Princeton Theological Seminary and began his presidency in January 2013. Barnes also serves as professor of pastoral ministry at the seminary. Craig Barnes was raised on Long Island, New York.  After graduating from The King’s College, Barnes earned his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Seminary in 1981 and his Ph.D. in the History of Christianity from the University

Bio

In 1982, Brian McLaren co-founded Cedar Ridge Community Church, a trans-denominational church in the Baltimore area. In 2006, he left the pastorate to devote himself full time to writing and speaking. Time magazine called him one of the 25 most influential evangelicals in America. McLaren has been active in networking and mentoring church planters and pastors since the mid-1980s, and has assisted in the development of several new churches.

Bio

An elder in the United Methodist Church, Professor Willimon served as the dean of Duke Chapel and Professor of Christian Ministry at Duke University for 20 years. He returned to Duke after serving as the UMC Bishop of the North Alabama Conference from 2004 to 2012.  Currently Will is professor of the Practice of Christian Ministry, Duke Divinity School and also pastor at Duke Memorial United Methodist Church. Adam Hamilton is the founding pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kan. He grew up in the Kansas City area and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in pastoral ministry from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Divinity Degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.  Hamilton has received the Denman Award in Evangelism and the Circuit Rider Award for excellence in church leadership.
