Retired Baptist pastor and former teacher of New Testament studies at Lexington Theological Seminary and Baylor University.

Sharyn earned the B.A from Wake Forest University, the M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the PhD. in New Testament from Emory University. She has taught at Wake Forest, Lexington Theological Seminary, and Baylor University. Rev. A native of Detroit, Dr. Andrews is an Associate Professor of Music Theory and African American Music at Emory University and Senior Minister of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Atlanta. Bio

Master Storyteller, Narrator and Librettist

Charlotte Blake Alston performs in venues throughout North America and abroad. Venues are wide and include the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Smithsonian Institution, the Kimmel Center, the Women of the World Festival in Cape Town, South Africa, prisons, detention centers and a refugee camp in northern Senegal.

She breathes life into traditional and contemporary stories from African and African American oral and cultural traditions.
